No it takes 3-4 turns of the spool cap to release the drag.

How much 30 lb mono line will the 65 take?

Hi Stephen, It does vary by brand, so I'm afraid we wouldn't be able to provide an answer, without knowing which brand you are using. The line capacity for the reel is - 0.35mm/340m, 0.40mm/230m, 0.50mm/185m so this should help you work it out. Regards Tackleuk

Hi, I was looking at getting 10ft riot and looking at 65s riot. Would say there but over size for 10ft or would they be ideal for the 10ft ? Thanks

Hi Frazer, There's no reason you can't pair the 65s with the 10ft Riots. Although they are more designed for distance casting and would probably be better paired with the longer rods in the range. Regards TackleUK' ''
