Built using their tried and tested freeze-tempering process, these have a longer life expectancy that your usual patterns as the tempering bolsters the design for improved durability and strength!
As the name suggests, this is an amalgam of the best features of the Gripper and Stiff patterns, which is almost unfair on the carp! The shape is that of the Stiff, with the fine curved ‘sticky’ point of the Gripper. They have been getting asked for a while for a chod / stiff pattern with an ultra-sharp beaked point and have answered those pleas with a design that has even converted a few straight point devotees through the testing process! Although choice is often down to personal preference rather than exact science, a beaked point can provide extra assurance especially in weedy or snaggy conditions, with unbeatable hook holds — and so they have proved through the testing process. Made in the same wire gauges as the Stiff paterns, making them the perfect pop up hook, the Grip feature heavy forging and of course the signature treatment making them incredibly strong with durable points.
