Product Overview

  • These are designed for people with small to medium faces, unlike most other models in the range this is a more fashionable eyewear, but the secure fit makes it ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities, and carrying the strong gene it is both on- and off-duty ready.
  • This is approved as European occupational safety eyewear and certified according to EN.166S and ANSI Z87.2.

Filter 8 Polarised Lenses

  • All polarised lenses are produced with 8 layers of protection for optimal vision. In addition to hydrophobic, anti-reflective and scratch resistant layers, Wiley X places their polarised layer between two layers of polycarbonate. This added design element increased the life of the polarised layer and keeps it from being damaged or scratched when cleaning.

Optical Clarity

  • All models are certified as protective eyewear - they meet or exceed standards not normally referenced in the fishing industry. Having a full and clear field of view across the entire lens is a key component to fishing, especially "sight-fishing" along with many other out activities.

Shatterproof Lenses

  • Frames and lenses should withstand a 1.1lb (500gr) pointed projectile dropped at a height of 50" (1.27m) for high mass protection. High velocity impact on the other hand, the frames and lenses must withstand the impact of 20 shots at different angles with a 0.25" (6.35mm) diameter steel ball fired at 150-160fps (45.6m/sec). Can you say shatterproof and practically indestructable? There is a reason why Wiley X is the only premium sunglass manufacturer whose entire line meets these stringent ANSI as well as EN.166 safety ratings.

U Shape Frame

  • All models are designed with an 8-base curve/wrap which eliminates side and backlight glare while enhancing polarisation and reducing eye fatigue.

Polarised Perfection

  • A polarised lens is made out of Selenite (polycarbonate) and polarised filter is placed in the middle of the lens, making sure that the filter stays untouched and protected against damage while wearing and cleaning them.
