Based on the very popular best selling SL30 model this updated edition carries a number of improvements on the other design whilst keeping the well liked deep base and side drawer combination now secured with the patented Mag-Lok system holding everything together in transport and allowing easy access to any of the compartments when you’re in position

All the twist to lock handwheels are now larger, and coated in a soft touch rubber making them easier to grip and tighten in all weathers. Four of the legs supplied are now telescopic allowing you to level and fine tune your box position in the most uneven of swims, crucial if you’re pole fishing at full length.

Other improvements include a lockable free sliding footplate that secures in position with two retractable plungers. Making it super secure both in use, and retracted back under the main unit for transport.

Can you adjust the height of this box without adding mor drawers etc.

Hi you do not need to by extra draws for the seat to be raised unless you are very tall over 6 foot or tailer in my opinion, great seat box I have bought 2 in the last 12 months for myself and my son??

It looks like the storage is only one deep tray unit, plus the 100mm base unit. Is this correct or is there also another compartment under the seat for made up winders etc ?

Hi Jason, I know we advertise it with coming with jus the deep tray and base unit. So I've checked the display model we have in our shop and there is no winder tray under the seat. Lifting the seat allows you to access the tray that you would otherwise get at by sliding it out. Regards TackleUK

Correct if you lift up seat you have one deep compartment and left hand side you have one sliding tray for winders etc but you can buy separate trays for seat box.

Yes it does have the deep storage and one deep tray, I bought a shallow drawer for my winders etc. hope this helps'

will my old units fit on this box? are the box legs, not the footplate, the same distance apart ie front to back the same, to fit my side tray?

I’m thinking of getting this box from you, are the Matrix Self Supporting Side Trays compatible with it.

Hi Mark, If you've still got the inserts that come with it, one of them should be a 30mm round leg and will fit the Preston box. They are however currently out of stock at the moment.
