Questions and Answers

Q
Hi doe this holdall have velcro to hold the tubes in place ? Also what diameter tubes are best for the medium to fit 8 ? Thanks
By Mr Paul Cadmore - BRIDGWATER - 31st Dec 2022
A
Hi Paul, No Velcro straps here, just a padded holdall inside. The green clear plastic 2.5inch diameter tubes from Leeda would be ideal. https://www.tackleuk.co.uk/Shop/Carp-Rod-Carriers-and-Tubes/Clear-GREEN-Plastic-ROD-Tube-.htm Regards TackleUK'

Q
Hi. Do you have to use tubes with this Matrix pro rod holdall, or can you just carry your rods in there in their cloth bags. thanks, Charles.
By Charles Letby - Hereford - 27th Dec 2021
A
Hi Charles, This is a traditional style holdall designed to take rod tubes. This offers the best protection for your rods in transit. If you want to put some rods in there unprotected then there's nothing to stop you, but I would question the logic. You might want to consider something like a stiff walled hard case type holdall that you can carry broken down rods with reels attached. There is an Ethos Matrix one in amongst the options. <a href="https://www.tackleuk.co.u
