Wychwood Rocket Floater Fly Lines, developed to be super buoyant with a projectile taper which lets you load the rod extremely fast, helping you to get the cast where it is needed. A combination of the profile and the thin super slick running line means that power casting is a breeze. Ideal for fishing from a drifting boat, or on the bank where punching into a head wind is required. For most of your modern day, stiffer actioned fly rods, this is the ideal choice. Plus is great for nymphing and also fishing with weighted lures.

Does the Rocket floater, as opposed to the Distance Rocket Floater, have a monofilament core or a braid core? I am looking for a very limp line that has virtually no memeory and drops almost vertically from the rod tip to the water. The braid core is mentioned in relation to the Distance models (Floater and Ghost Intermediate) but not for the non distance versions of these lines.

Hi Ian, I don't think the distance rocket floater version is available here in the UK.
