The upper section then leaves plenty of space for any extras like unhooking gear food and clothing. With zipped pockets on all three sides, and a drawstring holster for a water bottle.  A hard case built in zip up glasses holder to keep a set of polarised lenses. Plus rod holder tabs to carry a rod and reel outfit on the opposite side.
