Crimpable metal sleeves for constructing pike rigs. These are extremely strong and reliable! For even more strength in the joints, flatten it down in three places using a pair of crimping pliers, carefully avoiding the ends.

Designed for use with 7-strand wire.

Thank you for your answer does your guy use the E-sox supertrace with the slim crimps or different wire and does he use the super trace and if so what crimps does he use sorry to push the point but don’t want to loose the big one and leave a trace in the pike as I said I even got someone a lot more experienced than me and he could not do it Kind regards John Baker

Hi John, He's using the Drennan E-Sox Supertrace, and having watched him land 7 pike the other morning I can attest they work just fine. He's also using fox rage crimping pliers, just using the flat surface towards the 'beak' of the pliers. It's a difficult one, as they're simple sleeves and they shouldn't be a struggle.' Hi I have tried the Korda fox rage and wychwood crimp tool even gone down to local tackle shop to see if any of the masters could get the E-sox slim crimps 1.10 40lb crimps with the E-sox 40lb super trace work there has to be a way for it to work but just can’t I would be very grateful if you could find the answer Kind regards John Baker

Hi John, Not sure why your struggling here. They should be fine for use with 7 strand trace wire. One of the guys working here uses those very same crimps, with a Fox Rage crimping tool. He advises you use the flat part of the crimping tool instead of the rounded grooves. Regards TackleUK''
