Abu's Revo STX low profile reel series enters its 5th generation with a complete overhaul and redesign. Now featuring the X2-Cräftic™ alloy frame and sideplate to provide exceptional balance, weight, strength and ergonomics. The EXD Concept design allows anglers to maximize their casting performance while the IVCB-4 braking system gives anglers ultimate control with limitless braking options. The D2 Gear design and with a Power Stack Carbon Matrix drag that gives up to 25lb of resistance, the Revo STX has all the torque and power you need in a workhorse reel.

Is this reel suitable for saltwater angling?

Hi Simon, This reel can be used for salt water angling, it however isn't shielded for against Saltwater use and will wear down quickly, we recommend to give it a good wash with fresh water after use. Kind regards Tackleuk
