Product Overview

A strong powerful bait runner reel that still retains the smoothness that you would expect. They carry a number of unique Shimano features including the famous XT-7 body casing, ARC cut long cast spools, Varispeed line lay and Super Stopper ll technology. A reel that ideal for heavy duty big fish work.

Are these suitable for salt water fishing? How do they compate to the american Thunnus version

Hi Joe, Many of our UK customers use these for Saltwater fishing for varying purposes, as per normal make sure you wash them down after use and they will last for many years. Not to sure on the Thunnus model as this is something we are not familiar with other here.
