An updated re-release of Shimano’s best selling X-Aero 4000 sized baitrunner reel. A popular reel choice for barbel and specimen coarse anglers. Loaded with unique Shimano features that set this apart from the crowd. Manufactured with Shimano’s XT-7 main body and rotor, and fitted with strong reliable zinc diecast gears. The spools themselves have been cut with the AR-C angled lip, to improve line release on casting. This coupled with the Varispeed II line lay helps you gain more distance and accuracy. Fitted with a double handle and comes with a diecast aluminium spare spool.

Hi what is the difference between the x Aero fa and fb

Hi Anthony, I'm afraid we don't currently stock the FA version, so I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to compare. Shimano when they release new/updated models, work through the alphabet, so the FB version, should be the most recent. Hope this helps. Kind regards Tackleuk '
