Product Overview

Featuring their new IPX6 Sealed System which preserves the gearbox and drag system by keeping water completely out of its vital components. They also use their updated Drag System which now utilises their proprietary Dura-Drag material. Back by popular demand. Built for heavy-duty fishing from either boat or shore, and trusted by charter captains or travelling anglers.
To give you idea of sizing, the 4000 model is a perfect size for shore spinning work and the 7500 size would be a perfect size for beach casting at range.

Hi Rob, According to the Penn website...' Sizes 3500-5500 have automatic bail trip Sizes 6500-10500 have manual bail trip So it depends on the size your going for.

Hi Scott I'm afraid that the 6500 dosent have the anti-reverse switch.

Hi Mark, The 3500 and 4500 are the best sizes for this depending on what rod you are using. The 3500 size is out of stock at the moment but fingers crossed will be back in stock soon.

Is this the very latest version of the Penn Slammer III - the one with the rotating line roller rather than the fixed one?
