High performance front drag reels that offer you the perfect balance of strength and lightness and corrosion resistance. Built with a graphite main body, and featuring long stroke aluminium spools for exceptional line lay and release on the cast. Under pressure the premium carbon fibre drag system will give super smooth operation with 6+1 ball bearings that gives an overall silky feel when cranking in leads and landing fish. A great choice for covering a wide variety of venues, large and small.

Hi, are the weights for the two sizes the wrong way round in the spec ? The larger spool size appears to be far lighter, thanks

Hi Richard, Ill admit, it doesn't sound right. I've double checked, and that's definitely what the catalogue says that we used at the time of listing. Having tried to back this up by checking their website, there are no specs given. https://www.prologicfishing.com/products/element-xd/8000?GroupID= Ill drop them a message and see where we go from there.
