Product Overview

  • Built with exciting technologies such as Hagane gears and the totally new Magnum-Lite Rotor (MGL) so each model will stand the test of time. The MGL has majorly improved both balance and sensitivity beyond levels they have previously reached. With a striking design and ultra-smooth experience, combined with its light weight properties they are designed to win the hearts of many anglers around the globe. The Hagane drive gear is produced by their cold forging technology, without the need for additional machining. This delivers a long-lasting smoothness, strength, lightness and power at the very heart of the body. Traditional die cast, machined gears are less durable under heavy loads.
  • XShip is a combination of features that work together to create much greater efficiency. By positioning the pinion gear close to the centre line of the large diameter drive gear, more power is transferred from the handle to the rotor. The pinion gear is also supported by two of their ARB roller bearings. This creates more stability.
  • The new design of the Magnum-Lite Rotor produces unprecedented light rotation. The rotor profile, which was previously symmetrical, is now asymmetrical. The bail arm mechanism, which was previously situated on the same side as the line roller, has been moved to the opposite side. This improves balance and combined with a lightweight line roller, titan bail and optimum arrangement of rotor thickness, a 14% saving in rotation inertia has been achieved increasing sensitivity to previously unreached levels.
  • An advanced version of the original. This highly technical material is 2.5 times stiffer than the old design and is used on many of their high-end ranges to increase weight savings. Use of this in the body and rotor also delivers remarkable stiffness for better reel efficiency.
  • Aero Wrap Superb line lay is one of their hallmarks. Fed by Power Roller, the Aero system lays close, parallel coils (Aero Wrap) so line builds evenly on the spool and exits cleanly with minimum friction for longer, more accurate casts.
