A fixed spool version of the Salt Surf XT that features a secure locking reel seat, in stead of the sliding one supplied with the MX version. Featuring the same high quality thin diameter 24T carbon blanks outfitted with saltwater proof K guides. With a sensitive tip leading down into a more powerful mid and butt section. An ideal all round rod but perfect for fishing at distance over clean to mixed ground.

Hi Guys I can see this rod is advertised as a 3 piece 12ft 6 everywhere else I have seen it it is two piece is this correct as i am looking for two piece really fixed spool application

Hi Robert, Not sure where everyone else is getting their information from but its definitely 100% a 3 piece Rod. https://shakespeare-fishing.co.uk/products/salt-xt-fs-surfcasting-rod-1544327?variant=40752330375339 I've also checked the one we have in stock, and sure enough three sections.
