Designing a carp rod worthy of the Prodigy name is never easy and with the brief to create the best performing Prodigy rod ever; we’ve had to go back to the drawing board. The result is a new blank designed from the ground up to improve every aspect of performance and incorporate some of our latest developments in composites technology. The blank has been specifically designed to get the best out of modern, powerful, overhead casting styles and we’ve subtly tweaked the tip design to improve recovery speed. This gives the rod a crisp and responsive feel normally associated with ultra high end carp rods. Of course you’ll still find the smooth progressive prodigy action that cushions lunging fish yet gives plenty of power and control when needed.
Visual appeal has not been overlooked by including our resin rich Carbon Armour™ blank finish, the exclusive new DPS Carbon-Hybrid reel seat, slim shrink wrap handle and balanced stainless butt cap. Could this be the ultimate Prodigy carp rod? We think so....
