Product Overview

  • Looking to bring the same top notch quality than the upper range models at a tremendously reasonable price. Available in various lengths and test curves and with cork or EVA handles, these are great for casting out to the features on smaller waters or casting to the horizon on gravel pits! The blanks have been combined with an EVA front grip to make casting comfortable.
  • This range is based on proven manufacturing processes, using XT60 carbon. This results in very slim and powerful blanks which will enhance the casting performance. Although the blanks are very powerful, they do not compromise on playing action in the tip- and middle section, required for maintaining a secure hook-hold. The series have been developed with a plastic line clip. The new design features pink tipping on black cosmetic wrapping which will immediately catch the eye of the angler.
  • XT Carbon is used throughout the range. The number following the XT (XT100), denotes the quality of carbon fibre used. The higher the number, the stronger the carbon. Where different types of carbon are combined to create the required action both numbers will be shown (XT60/40).
  • Stainless Steel SIC Guides Combining lightweight yet robust anodised steel frames with Aluminium Oxide liners, Shimano's SIC guides offer the ideal balance of strength and performance without compromise.
  • DPS Reel Seat In addition to using high-end Fuji reel seats, Shimano has designed a number of models in-house. These engineered models make it possible to use specialised reel seats for different types of rods.
