Questions and Answers

Q
Hi Ash , Could you recommend a rod and reel you have in stock at a reasonable price that is suitable for all round types of fishing. Or perhaps just pier and shore fishing. I’m looking to buy as soon as possible alongside tackle etc

Hi Dean, there is no rod that does all but if you wanted to go shore fishing and the occasional trip to the pier this combo is a great price and perfect for that style of fishing: https://www.tackleuk.co.uk/Shop/Rod-and-Reel-Combos/Jarvis-Walker-Mirage-COMBO-12ft-Rod-and-Reel.htm

Q
Hi, would this be okay for pier fishing and beach fishing. Thanks
By Dean Stevenson - Isle of Man - 30th Mar 2020
A
Hi Dean, it depends on what you want to do with it, if you want to fish small lures then yes it will be fine as long as you are not trying to lift our any fish you catch on it. Pulling fish gently onto the beach would be fine.
