Hi John, By adding an aluminium floor, it adds greater stability to the boat and creates a more stable base. There is a video above that shows all the features of the boat which may be of help for you also. Kind regards Tackleuk

Hi Josh, By choosing the Aluminium floor it adds greater stability to the boat, one down side it is obviously heavier, so something to think about if you are transporting the boat.
