Product Overview

A true all-rounder created by Shimano to fit the requirements of predator anglers, in both fresh and salt water. Available in two models, both a regular and a High Gear (HG) option giving two different gear ratios depending on your preference. The standard 6,2:1 provides the most power and is the best choice when fishing big lures with a lot of water resistance. The 7,4;1 HG gives a good balance between speed and power. Great for fishing soft plastics, jerkbaits and topwater lures and able to handle bigger lures carrying more weight for bigger fish. Additional features include Shimano's unique Micromodule Gear system and the Stable Spool design. Providing a more efficient gear train with a smoother, more positive feel. The combination of CI4+ body and lightweight aluminium frame makes it very tough but keeps the weight down. The SVS infinity braking system controls spool speed for precision casting, making it also possible to cast lighter lures while fishing for bass.

All models in this range are left hand wind

Questions and Answers

Q
Hi do you have the handle for left handed retrieve? It's just I've purchased 'left handed' baitcasting reels in the past and they've been the wrong way round. Thanks

Hi Aidan, I can see in the image that the handle for this, is on the left side, so in theory, it is left-hand wind. We have sold plenty of this model and had no issues to date.
