Product Overview

  • These have a handy combination of features that work together to create a much superior feel. By arranging the pinion gear close to the core line of the large diameter drive gear, more power is conveyed from the handle to the rotor. The pinion gear is also bolstered by two A-RB roller bearings. This creates more stability when in use - you can really feel it too!
  • Featuring a Hagane body and main gear with X-Ship technology. This fantastic combination produces the strength and power needed for extreme saltwater fishing, especially when fishing for large, hard fighting species. X-Shield and X-Protect are used throughout to provide excellent water resistance and the powerful drag is controlled by X-Tough carbon washers for totally reliable performance. Although designed with a saltwater purpose in mind, this model would also make excellent use as a heavy-duty freshwater species like catfish. S A-RB bearings are high corrosion resistant and have and extra shield for improved protection against sand, salt or dust.
  • The hagane gear is produced for their cold forging technology, without the need for additional machining. This delivers a long-lasting smoothness, strength, lightness and power at the very heart of every one of these items. Traditional die cast machined hears are less durable under heavy loads.
  • The Dyna-Balance reduces wobble during the retrieve by counter-balancing the rotor to enhance sensitivity and smoothness. By using computer balancing, they are able to redistribute the rotor weight to effectively eliminate vibrations.
  • X-Protect: The contact type triple-lip structure is introduced to the roller clutch, the pivotal point concerning water resistance. In this structure, the first lip prevents water from entering between the rotor and the body. In addition, the special grease between the second and third lip not only resists water from entering but also minimises friction resistance. Without jeopardising their smoothness, an exceptional water resistance feat has been achieved to withstand spray.
