Product Overview

This range features two different lengths, the 12ft models which range between 2.75lb & 3.25lb test curves, and the 13ft Intensity model. Just as it sounds, the intensity model has a test curve of 3.50lb+, making it superb for hard fighting fish and distance casting! Their two-piece construction provides significant backing strength whilst the EVA grips and Fuji reel seat make use a blast.
This range is based on the latest manufacturing processes, using a blend of HPC200 and Biofibre carbon. This results in very slim and powerful blanks which will enhance the casting performance. Although the blanks are very powerful, these do not compromise on playing action in the tip- and middle section, required for maintaining a secure hook-hold. The series have been developed with a plastic line clip. The new design features red tipping on black cosmetic wrapping which will immediately catch the eye of the angler. The rear grip is manufactured from material of Winn Grip which has resulted in a distinctive looking carp rod with a very nice feeling to the grip.
High Pressure Carbon is a process which creates stronger, more responsive blanks. Pressure is applied to the blank surface during curing (heating) which evenly distributes the resin through the carbon fibre matrix. The result is a much stronger, more consistent performance and improved responsive.
Adding Biofibre reinforces the carbon fibres in all directions. This gives outstanding strength, shock resistance, lightness and power.
Fuji reel seats are designed with graphite nylon bodies, exclusive S-4 stainless steel hoods, with lined cushioned inserts to offer a lightweight reel seat with superior strength. Uniform design for increased comfort, and with self aligned hoods that provide a solid lockdown on your reel foot which will never back off while fishing.
Stainless Steel SIC Guides Combining lightweight yet robust anodised steel frames with Aluminium Oxide liners, Shimano's SIC guides offer the ideal balance of strength and performance without compromise.

Looking to get the jag rod support for these rods which would be best large or small

Hi Alan, As those roods are now discontinued, we cant hjuts go measure some for you. The JAG supports listing on our website gives a recommended diameter for each size.
