Product Overview

  • Created using their special X-Protect technology which is 7 times more water resistant than the CoreProtect technology to create a truly versatile design that is superb at combating rough conditions! A brilliant front drag model with some fantastic features. The most important being the X-Protect technology which is used to protect the important inner parts. X- Protect features water repellent + a special labyrinth structure in order to keep water out of the body. This is 7 times more water resistant than the CoreProtect technology. This makes the reel very suitable for 'rough' conditions like high waves (SW), rain, wading fishing; ways of fishing where it might happen that it gets in touch with a lot of water.
  • The gearing is stronger than before, the drag features cross carbon drag washers; all of this makes the reel suitable for heavy conditions. However; it can be used in any condition; it's a true allround spinning reel in the sizes 2500-5000.
  • The HAGANE Drive Gear is produced by their coldforging technology, without the need for additional machining. This delivers a longlasting smoothness, strength, lightness and power at the very heart of the reel. Traditional diecast, machined gears are less durable under heavy loads.
  • XShip is a combination of features that work together to create much greater efficiency. By positioning the pinion gear close to the centre line of the large diameter drive gear, more power is transferred from the handle to the rotor. The pinion gear is also supported by two of their ARB roller bearings. This creates more stability.
  • XProtect is the contact type triplelip structure is introduced to the roller clutch, the pivotal point concerning water resistance. In this structure, the first lip prevents water from entering through the space between the rotor and the body. In addition, the special grease between the second and third lip where it makes contact with the rotor collar located at the upper part of the roller clutch not only resists water from entering but also minimizes friction resistance. Without jeopardizing the 'silky smooth rotation capacity', the vital feature of STELLA SW, exceptional water resistance, has been achieved to withstand the crashing and splashing of waves and spray.
  • Available in different types. The HG models have a "High Gear", the XG models have an "Extra High Gear", and the models with 'C' at the begginging have "Compact Body".
